How to Play
The goal is simple: clear every tile from the Turtle layout by matching open pairs. A tile is open when no tile sits on top of it and at least its left or right side is free.
The two matching tiles may be far apart or on different layers. Space above or below a tile does not count as a free side. If a tile shakes when clicked, inspect its top and its horizontal neighbors before trying again. See the open-tile walkthrough.
Most tiles match by exact symbol: numbers, bamboos, dots, winds, and dragons. Flowers and seasons work as family matches instead of exact copies.
Flowers match other flowers and seasons match other seasons; the two groups cannot match each other. The bird tile represents one bamboo, and the framed blank tile is the white dragon. Read the complete tile-set reference.
Strategy
Compare what a pair will uncover. A top-layer match often reveals more information, but it does not guarantee a solution. Prefer a known useful follow-up over height alone.
Flowers and seasons provide flexible matching choices. Use them when they release a row or stack; saving them automatically can leave useful tiles blocked.
A tile is only playable when its left or right side is free. Before matching an obvious pair, see whether another pair opens more space.
Hints do not cost points before your first match. After the game starts, each new hinted pair can reduce your score.
Try a three-copy choice: compare two legal pairs and see why only one of the offered choices uncovers a ready partner.
Scoring
Each pair earns 100 base points. Pairs less than or equal to eight seconds apart build a quick-chain bonus. Consecutive pairs of the same exact matching type, such as two pairs of four bamboo, earn a separate streak bonus. Clearing the board adds 5,000 points.
Before the first match, hints are free. The first three charged hints cost 85, 150, and 235 points. Repeating the same physical hinted pair costs nothing extra, and a penalty never takes your score below zero. Check the full Hint rules and examples.

No. Mahjong Solitaire is a single-player matching puzzle that uses Mahjong-style tiles, but it does not use the rules of four-player Mahjong.
The tile may still be blocked. It must have no tile on top and must have either its left or right side open.
The generator searches for a deal with a removal path. This is not a promise that every game can be completed: its fallback can deal randomly, and later choices can leave no open matches.
Flower tiles can match any other flower tile. Season tiles can match any other season tile. They do not need identical artwork.
